To deepen university-enterprise cooperation under the guidance of Party building and explore new paths for deep integration of industry, academia, and research, at the invitation of the Zhejiang Alumni Association, the School of Civil Engineering of Southeast University conducted a special "Enterprise Visits and Job Expansion" activity in Hangzhou, Zhejiang on May 14. The delegation was led by Wang Lingyan, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean of the School, and Li Dezhi, Vice Dean, with members including Qiu Hongxing and Zhu Hong, professors from the Department of Building Engineering, and Ye Gengtong, Industry-Academia-Research Secretary.     At Huaxin Consulting and Design Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Huaxin"), Zhang Jiancong, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of Huaxin, Jiang Lijun, General Manager of the Human Resources Department, Ni Wei, Deputy General Manager of the Technology Development Department, Peng Guiping, Dean of the Digital Construction Institute (Class of 1996 alumnus), and Wang Yang of the Human Resources Department attended the event.

    Deputy Party Secretary Wang Lingyan and Chief Engineer Zhang Jiancong of Huaxin jointly unveiled the "Southeast University Graduate Practice Base," marking an upgrade in cooperation between the two parties in talent cultivation and research practice. Vice Dean Li Dezhi presented the "Southeast University Off-Campus Doctoral Supervisor Appointment Letter" to Peng Guiping, Dean of Huaxin's Digital Construction Institute and Vice President of the Zhejiang Alumni Association, further expanding the School's channels for joint talent cultivation.

    At the symposium, Chief Engineer Zhang Jiancong systematically introduced Huaxin's technological breakthroughs in fields such as smart cities and digital twins. Both parties reached a deep consensus on "joint industry-academia-research tackling of key problems." In the future, the two parties will focus on directions such as smart cities and digital engineering, prefabricated buildings, and low-carbon technologies, accelerate the transformation of scientific research achievements, promote the deep integration of the education chain, talent chain, and industry chain, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the construction industry.

    At China Overseas Development Hangzhou Company (hereinafter referred to as "China Overseas"), General Manager Sun Wenzhi (Class of 1997 alumnus), Assistant General Manager Tang Liang (Class of 1997 alumnus), Operations Department Manager Sun Yanqing (Class of 2008 alumnus), Project Director Jiang Huihua (Class of 2006 alumnus), Engineering Manager Huang Fan (Class of 2011 alumnus), Engineering Manager Shi Luyao (Class of 2011 alumnus), and Customer Research Supervisor Dong Yakun (Class of 2012 alumnus) attended the exchange activity.

    First, General Manager Sun Wenzhi introduced the company's strategic layout as a globally leading investment, construction, and operation service provider in areas such as real estate development, urban construction, and infrastructure investment, and emphasized taking "long-termism" as the core to deepen cooperation with the alma mater and jointly explore new technology applications and sustainable industry development.
