On May 13, Shandong Heavy Industry Weichai Group and CRRC signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Weifang. Sun Yongcai, Party Secretary and Chairman of CRRC, and Man Shengang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry, held discussions and exchanges and witnessed the signing. Ma Changhai, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shandong Heavy Industry, attended the event. Yu Weiping, Vice President of CRRC, and Wang Decheng, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of Weichai Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

Sun Yongcai introduced the history of CRRC and its development in industries such as rail transit equipment, wind power equipment, new energy commercial vehicles, photovoltaics, and energy storage. He stated that CRRC and Shandong Heavy Industry, both leading enterprises in China's equipment manufacturing industry, share common missions, development tasks, and cooperation demands. He expressed the hope that both parties will further deepen exchanges and learning, industrial cooperation, and R&D collaboration, jointly commit to enhancing the resilience and security of industrial chains, build a modern industrial system, and create new achievements and make new contributions in the new journey of Chinese-style modernization.

Man Shengang welcomed the CRRC delegation and congratulated CRRC on its role as a pillar of the nation and its outstanding brand image. He said that both CRRC and Shandong Heavy Industry carry the mission of high-end, intelligent, and green development in the energy and transportation equipment industries, and that the two parties have a solid cooperation foundation, broad cooperation space, and promising cooperation prospects. He expressed the hope to further deepen cooperation in areas such as new energy, power systems, and key components, continuously create new prospects for resource sharing, complementary advantages, and win-win cooperation, and jointly inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of China's equipment manufacturing industry.

According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out all-round cooperation in areas including complete vehicles and key components, marine transportation equipment, smart logistics, scientific and technological innovation, and industrial chain development, and will leverage global resources to jointly advance international development and build world-class enterprises.

Before the meeting, the CRRC delegation visited the Weichai Industrial Park to inspect Weichai's high-end engine intelligent manufacturing, smart logistics, product testing, and quality standards development.
