On April 3, the Zhejiang Provincial Ningbo Geological Institute was officially inaugurated.

    Before the inauguration, the Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute held exchanges with the Ningbo Municipal Government. Shao Xiangrong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute, introduced in detail the reform and development of the Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute and the inauguration of the Zhejiang Provincial Ningbo Geological Institute and related matters. Tang Feifan, Deputy Secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, expressed gratitude tothe Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute for its strong support for Ningbo's high-quality economic and social development.

    Tang Feifan stated that Ningbo, as a pioneering reform city, has numerous national-level pilot programs in natural resources management, ecological environmental protection and other fields, and geological work has great potential in supporting Ningbo's economic and social development. He hoped that the Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute and the Zhejiang Provincial Ningbo Geological Institute would give full play to their professional and technical advantages, integrate more deeply into local development, and help build Ningbo into a modern coastal metropolis. Ningbo will fully support the reform and development of the Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute and the Zhejiang Provincial Ningbo Geological Institute.

    Subsequently, the inauguration event of the Zhejiang Provincial Ningbo Geological Institute was held.Shao Xiangrong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute, attended and delivered a speech, and President Zhang Yueyan presided over the event.

    At the inauguration ceremony,Shao Xiangrong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute; Zhang Yueyan, President; Wang Yinxing, Director and Party Secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Natural Resources and Planning Bureau; and Tang Xiaoming, President of the Zhejiang Provincial Ningbo Geological Institute, jointly unveiled the Zhejiang Provincial Ningbo Geological Institute.

    Shao Xiangrong pointed out thatadding the nameplate "Zhejiang Provincial Ningbo Geological Institute" to the Zhejiang Provincial Hydrogeological and Engineering Geological Brigade isa major measure of the Party Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute in deeply studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, comprehensively implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important reply letter to all geological workers of the Sixth Geological Brigade of Shandong Province, the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and the decision-making arrangements of the Provincial Party Committee of "one primary task, three main directions, and two fundamentals." It is alsoan important step for the Zhejiang Provincial Geological Institute to meet the needs of high-quality development of the province's geological cause in the new era, closely focus on the main responsibilities and main business of geological work, and accelerate the building of a "first-class geological institute" through unified "system" construction.
