In order to further promote academic exchanges across the Taiwan Strait in the field of geotechnical engineering and to jointly advance collaborative innovation and development of the industry, the "2025 Cross-Strait Geotechnical Technology / Geotechnical Engineering Exchange Symposium," jointly hosted by the Deep Foundation and Underground Space Engineering Branch of the China Construction Industry Association and the Geotechnical Technology Research and Development Foundation (a consortium legal entity), is scheduled to be held in Taipei from November 19 to 20, 2025. This conference has been successfully held twelve times over 33 years and has consistently served as an important platform for discussion in the cross-strait geotechnical/geotechnical technology field, focusing on in-depth exchanges and discussions around cutting-edge topics in cross-strait geotechnical/geotechnical technology.

    The Deep Foundation and Underground Space Engineering Branch of the China Construction Industry Association is now actively organizing member units and industry representatives to participate in this conference. We hereby sincerely invite experts, scholars, and relevant practitioners from all units to submit papers and register for the conference. We look forward to mutual visits and exchanges across the Strait that bring together the wisdom and strength of all parties to jointly help Chinese geotechnical engineering advance to new heights.

    Given the relatively complex procedures for processing travel to Taiwan, in order to ensure that everyone can smoothly obtain entry qualification to Taiwan, please be sure to submit application materials in accordance with the following requirements before May 20, 2025:

1. Please name the email subject as "2025 Cross-Strait Conference Application - Unit Name - Name";

2. Application materials should be sent uniformly to the association email address:scjsgxh@163.com;

3. Special reminder: applications for travel to Taiwan will be handled uniformly by the association after collecting and summarizing the materials. Applications submitted individually by individuals will be deemed invalid.

    Regarding conference fees, detailed schedule, and other related matters, once confirmed, we will notify all member units and registered participants as soon as possible. Please continue to pay attention to relevant information.
