The "Changhang Cargo 005" vessel has an overall length of 129.98 meters, a molded breadth of 16.2 meters, and a molded depth of 7.2 meters, with a maximum cargo capacity of 10,270 tons. As a demonstration vessel for a national key project, the ship has achieved breakthrough progress in green technology, obtaining the China Classification Society's "Green Ship-2" green vessel classification notation, with significant environmental benefits.

Two 1000kW Weichai WH20 micro-pilot ignition LNG engines provide the vessel with efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly power, achieving a comprehensive upgrade and iteration of overall performance. Featuring high efficiency, reliability, strong power, and energy conservation and environmental protection, they are a powerful alternative to imported products in Weichai's WH series of marine power solutions.

At present, Weichai WH20 micro-pilot ignition LNG engines have been fitted to multiple 10,000-ton-class bulk carriers of Changhang Group. Through actual vessel verification, compared with conventional fuel engines, CO₂ emissions are reduced by approximately 20% versus diesel vessels of the same type, sulfur oxide and nitrogen oxide emissions are reduced by 100%, and fuel costs can be saved by more than 20%. Their actual operational performance has won high recognition from Changhang Group, which has placed additional batch orders. As an important practice in the green and high-quality development of Yangtze River shipping, Weichai has joined hands with Changhang Group to promote the engineering application of key technologies such as green, low-carbon, and intelligent navigation for inland river vessels, providing an integrated green and intelligent technology solution for inland river bulk carrier types and playing a demonstration and leading role in improving the environmental performance and safety level of Yangtze River cargo vessels.
