On April 30, the Information Office of the Hunan Provincial People's Government held a press conference announcing that the 4th Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition will open from May 15 to 18. On the same day, transport vehicles carryingSany Groupblue electric loaders drove into the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, making it the second company to officially set up its booth. It is reported that Sany Group will present 72 sets of equipment (including 58 main machines) from its 18 business divisions and subsidiaries, showcasing Sany's high-quality development achievements in a super-large booth of 10,089 square meters.

With the theme of "High-end, Intelligent, Green—A New Generation of Construction Machinery, Emergency Equipment, Mining Equipment, and Agricultural Machinery," this exhibition plans an exhibition area of 300,000 square meters and will add two major industry clusters: safety and emergency equipment and mining equipment. It will focus on displaying more than 20,000 products (sets) in 23 major categories across four sectors: construction machinery, emergency equipment, mining machinery, and agricultural machinery. In parallel, four major events, 11 thematic events, multiple supporting activities, and more than 100 various business events will be held.

"During the exhibition, Sany will for the first time stage a live performance of large equipment, with 11 machines presenting the unique charm of the integration of 'Sany Intelligent Manufacturing' and 'Hunan Culture.'" Zhao Hui, general manager of Sany Group's exhibition company, introduced that the equipment on display will include an unmanned electric concept excavator, the all-new 215E medium excavator, a 250-ton hybrid crane, the first-ever display of the 2500-model oil fracturing truck and fracturing pump, a 100-toncrawler hydraulic drilling rigthe all-new electric pallet truck, the all-new SE636 electric heavy truck, four all-new road machinery units, and a 12-ton multifunctional washing and sweeping truck—16 new products in total; as well as 20 electrified and new energy products, accounting for 43%, demonstrating Sany's leading technologies in digital intelligence and low-carbon development.

Changsha, a central Chinese city that is neither coastal nor border-adjacent, has held the title of "China's Construction Machinery Capital" for many years. In 2024, the scale of its construction machinery cluster exceeded 250 billion yuan, accounting for more than 30% of the national market share. On the list of the world's top 50 construction machinery companies, five leading enterprises—Sany, Zoomlion, Sunward, CRCC, and Sinoboom—have long been included. The Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition has become an important platform for global debuts and first exhibitions of new construction machinery products, technological innovation transformation, and trade and investment promotion.

This year, the exhibition's internationalization, marketization, and green upgrading have been enhanced. Envoys and representatives from nearly 60 countries in China and four UN international organizations have confirmed their attendance; more than 100 international brands will exhibit, and for the first time, visiting delegations from Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia will be organized to attend the exhibition and six international business matchmaking meetings; a "New Technology and New Product Release Zone" will be set up for the first time, having collected 1,500 new products, new technologies, new standards, and new achievements for debut and first exhibition; green heavy machinery on display will account for more than 75%, and green booth construction will account for more than 80% of the exhibition.
