Walking into the Suzhou North Station construction site, seven Shangong Machinery DMP method mixing pile rigs stand majestically, towering against the sky. Here, the renovation project of a mega high-speed railway hub station with an investment of 11.6 billion yuan is under construction. Rows of Shangong equipment assembled into formation have coated the project site in a layer of Shangong green!

Shangong Machinery's DMP method mixing pile equipment is participating in an important part of the TYSZZ0-1 section of the pre-station and related works of the agent-constructed section of Suzhou North Station of the new Nantong-to-Ningbo High-Speed Railway.

The DMP method mixing piles in this project are mainly used for trench wall reinforcement of the internal retaining structure, waterproof curtains, and in-pit reinforcement. The total volume of DMP method mixing piles required for the project exceeds 200,000 cubic meters, with a pile diameter of 850mm, a depth of 16-30m, and a cement mixing ratio of 20%.

Environmental factors:The project site is adjacent to Suzhou North Station and Suzhou Rail Transit Metro Line 2, and its location imposes extremely stringent environmental protection requirements. The difficulty lies in the fact that the DMP method trench wall reinforcement piles are right next to the structural engineering piles of the rail transit metro. The project requires trench wall reinforcement verticality <1/300, and construction must be precisely controlled to minimize impact on the surrounding environment. With its significant advantage of micro-disturbance construction, the DMP method mixing pile equipment can effectively ensure the safety and stability of existing buildings and structures during construction, ensuring the safety of the entire area.

Stratum factors:ConstructionThe shallow part of the site is mainly distributed with deep silty soil and silty sand layers, which have strong permeability, placing extremely high demands on the anti-seepage performance of the waterproof curtain and in-pit reinforcement retaining structures.The project requiresthe verticality of the waterproof curtain and in-pit reinforcement piles <1/200. With its multi-layer mixing blades and powerful equipment drive, the DMP method mixing pile equipment can effectively ensure pile uniformity. At the same time, the digital construction control system precisely manages the entire pile-forming process, ensuring strict compliance with design standards, thereby guaranteeing excellent quality of the piles even in deep silty soil layers.

At present, a single rig completes 15 panels, approximately 550 cubic meters, in 12 hours—not only fast but also quality-assured. The owner highly recognizes the operational efficiency of the DMP method mixing equipment and is full of confidence and expectation for future cooperation.

As of now, the project site has seven Shangong Machinery DMP method mixing rigs. Looking around, green columns stand tall against the blue sky and white clouds, drilling down, re-mixing, and lifting, playing the most hardcore "waltz" on the construction site, accelerating the project's rise from the ground.
