April is filled with the fragrance of flowers, and the production workshops are busy without pause. At CRCHI's Changsha No. 1 Industrial Park, complete sets of electrical control cabinets for two 9.7-meter shield tunneling machines are being assembled and produced, with workers holding wires, pulling and tugging, sorting and wiring according to the drawings.

"Work must be especially meticulous, strictly implementing European standards." Xie Hao, squad leader of the electrical team at the Tunneling Machine General Factory, compared the drawings and conducted a technical briefing with team members. These are electrical control cabinets for two shield tunneling machines exported to Italy, designed to European standards. Although they had previously produced 8 units for export to Italy, the electrical team attaches exceptional importance to every exported piece of equipment.

Xie Hao said that equipment exported to Europe must pass CE certification, with extremely strict requirements on electrical safety. For this reason, the team established a "Party Member Pioneer Post" and designated "Red Flag Responsibility Zones," with Party members taking the lead in self-study and training on process and technical standards to improve operational skills and standards.

As a Communist Party member rooted in the frontline of the team, Xie Hao takes the lead in shouldering burdens and responsibilities, leading the team to ensure both production and delivery schedules and product assembly quality. While speaking, he operated the withstand voltage tester to inspect the just-assembled electrical control cabinet. "The smaller the leakage current, the safer it is, and it is also an important indicator for measuring our product quality." After more than ten minutes, all tested leakage current values were shown to be less than 20 milliamps, meeting standard requirements.

Ou Yuan is a veteran and also a Communist Party member on the production frontline. He is known as the "Xu Sanduo" of the Tunneling Machine General Factory. The team he leads has won titles including the "Locomotive Trophy" from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, "National Railway Model Workers' Home" from the All-China Railway Federation of Trade Unions, and "Worker Pioneer" and "Model Workers' Home" from China Railway Construction Corporation.

Taking the First Party Branch of the Tunneling Machine General Factory as an example, since its establishment, the branch has trained 18 squad leaders, of whom 15 have been developed into Party members, accounting for 83.3%.

Since last year, CRCHI's production support system has completed acceptance and rollout of more than 10 super-large-diameter shield tunneling machines, supporting the construction of national key and difficult projects such as the Jintang Undersea Tunnel of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway, the Haitai Yangtze River Tunnel, and the Jiangjiang-Hanjiang Water Diversion Project of the South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route.
