On April 18, the section from Shuanghua Road to Wenxing Main Street of the Changcheng Road road project in the Shuangliu area of Chengdu successfully completed surface asphalt paving, and the full width of this section was officially opened to traffic.

Changcheng Road is an important traffic artery in Shuangliu District, located in the Xihanggang Economic Development Zone of Shuangliu District, Chengdu. It starts from Shuanghua Road in the south and ends at Dajian Road in the north, with a total length of about 3.9 kilometers, a planned red line width of 40 meters, and a design speed of 50 kilometers per hour.

Since the start of construction, the project team has strictly followed relevant specifications, carefully organized and scientifically carried out construction, and continuously and dynamically adjusted relevant measures for different processes such as base replacement, graded aggregate paving, concrete pouring, cement-stabilized macadam paving, and asphalt surface construction, while fully considering factors such as construction progress, safety, environmental protection, and quality. Because of the large volume of passing traffic and long service life, the road surface in this section had deteriorated to varying degrees, causing considerable inconvenience to citizens' travel. To ensure smooth construction, the project team formulated a construction plan based on the actual road conditions and completed filing with and obtained approval from the traffic police brigade. While ensuring normal passage on four lanes in both directions, construction was carried out in three sections. During construction, traffic guidance work was also carried out in an orderly manner. Through measures such as setting up reasonable detour notices and arranging dedicated personnel for direction, the impact of construction on citizens' daily travel and urban traffic order was minimized as much as possible.
