On April 7, 2025, at the Sinoboom booth at the bauma Munich exhibition in Germany, Sinoboom Intelligent officially announced the completion of a strategic acquisition of the Holland Lift brand and all business intellectual property through its Dutch subsidiary Sinoboom BV. This acquisition marks an important milestone in Sinoboom Intelligent's globalization process.

About Holland Lift

Holland Lift was founded at the end of 1983 by Martin Haak, focusing on the production of large heavy-duty self-propelled scissor aerial work platforms. Its products are exquisitely designed and renowned for high quality, heavy-load performance, and durability, and it was once celebrated in the construction and industrial sectors as a "benchmark brand for heavy-duty scissor equipment."

The company possesses deep technical heritage, with an R&D team composed of senior local European engineers from Germany, the Netherlands, and other regions. For more than three decades it has continued to innovate and strive for excellence, becoming an important player in the high-end market. It led the formulation of the EU EN280 safety standard for heavy-duty scissor platforms, and its 23-tonne-class model (HL-230D25) still holds the world record for the maximum load capacity of scissor platforms.

Despite maintaining its advantage in heavy-duty scissor technology, Holland Lift was long constrained by the dual limitations of production capacity bottlenecks and supply chain fragility—its annual output never broke through the technical ceiling of 250-300 units, leading to continuously extended order delivery cycles. This predicament stemmed from its asset-light operating model: as a typical design-oriented enterprise, the company relied heavily on external supply chain systems, which ultimately made it unsustainable under the combined pressures of soaring raw material prices such as steel in recent years, delivery delays of key components caused by the COVID-19 pandemic compounded by the Russia-Ukraine war, and market shocks from low-price competitors.

On August 23, 2023, Holland Lift announced the cessation of operations and entered liquidation proceedings, but its technical contributions and industry influence in the field of heavy-duty aerial work will still be remembered.

Holland Lift's Core Products and Technical Advantages

Product Features

Covering working heights of 16-34 meters, with many of its more than 30 models having load capacities exceeding 1,000 kilograms, suitable for heavy-duty scenarios such as steel plants, construction sites, and large farms; power systems include electric, diesel, and hybrid, meeting diverse indoor and outdoor operational needs.

Representative model HL-190E12: only 1.2 meters wide, with a load capacity of 500 kg (the extension platform has the same load capacity), equipped with non-marking tires, 500AH batteries, and bronze bearing + double hard chrome-plated shaft technology, with a service life exceeding 10 years.

Holland Lift's Full Product Series

Technical Highlights

Structural craftsmanship: reinforced scissor steel structures, reinforced key hydraulic pipelines, and fully painted components to enhance durability.

Design philosophy: compact and flexible (e.g., a 1.2-meter body to navigate narrow doorways), full proportional control technology, and safety protection (e.g., body protective mesh).

The addition of Holland Lift will create strong strategic synergies with Sinoboom Intelligent's existing business, comprehensively improving Sinoboom's product layout in the heavy-load product field. This important strategic move will significantly enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of Sinoboom's global product matrix, inject strong momentum into the company's globalization development, and further consolidate Sinoboom's leading position in the global aerial work platform market.
