Introduction
Recently, the monograph *Research on Floating Bridge Technology*, chief-edited by the Floating Bridge Research Group of CCCC Highway Consultants Co., Ltd. (CCCC HPDI), has been officially published. Targeting the special construction conditions of ultra-deep and wide straits that conventional bridges struggle to cross, the book innovatively proposes a hydrodynamic theoretical system for floating bridges applicable to multiple sea states, and for the first time systematically explains the "fluid-structure coupling" mechanism of floating bridges.

The company's research team has overcome core technologies including complex sea-state modeling, fluid-structure coupling numerical simulation, and floating bridge design methods, forming a full-process design technology system covering mathematical model construction, hydrodynamic response analysis, and structural optimization design. Validated through multiple practical engineering cases, this technology can effectively solve floating bridge design challenges in wide, ultra-deep fjords and lakes as well as inland rivers, providing a brand-new solution for global cross-sea channel construction, with significant social and economic benefits and engineering application value.
