Recently, the Changshun Road Intersection Underpass Tunnel on Jinnan Avenue in Chengdu, constructed by the company, officially opened to traffic, achieving full-line opening 2 months ahead of the original schedule.

The Changshun Road Intersection Underpass Tunnel Project on Jinnan Avenue is the company's first diversified project undertaken in Chengdu, located in the southern section of Jinnan Avenue at the junction of Tianfu New Area and Shuangliu District in Chengdu. The tunnel runs along Jinnan Avenue with a total length of 1,060 meters, of which the underpass section is 480 meters long, featuring dual six-lane carriageways and constructed using the cut-and-cover top-down method. The project scope is complex, covering utility relocation within the construction area, asphalt overlay of the road surface on the approach sections before and after the underpass tunnel, construction and demolition of pedestrian overpasses, construction of a rainwater pumping station and management building, the co-construction section of the Erjiangsi Station entrance/exit of Chengdu Metro Line 5 and the underpass tunnel, as well as ancillary works such as integrated sidewalk renovation.

By optimizing construction plans, adjusting construction sequences, and rationally allocating resources, the team achieved simultaneous operations at multiple work faces after the completion of utility relocation, laying a solid foundation for the project's early opening to traffic.

Previously, the Changshun Road Intersection on Jinnan Avenue had only through lanes. With the full opening of the upgraded underpass tunnel, the long-standing traffic pressure on this section has been effectively alleviated, the regional traffic conditions have been greatly improved, and the road network capacity of the southern area of Chengdu has been significantly enhanced, providing more convenient traffic conditions for citizens' travel.
