As the secretariat supporting unit of the Foundation Engineering Professional Committee of the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization, Jianyan Foundation completed the compliance review of the first batch of 2025 association standard projects under its jurisdiction and organized a proposal pre-review meeting on April 8.

     The meeting established a review expert group consisting of five members: Master of Survey and Design Wu Wei, Researcher Gao Wensheng, Researcher Yang Shenggui, Researcher Wang Tao, and Professor-level Senior Engineer Xu Guoping, to review the applied projects. Cheng Qi, Deputy Director of the Standards Department of the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization, attended the meeting.

     Speaking on behalf of the association, Cheng Qi pointed out that the compilation of association standards will fully implement the development concept of "quality first," always adhere to the principle of "strict entry and strict exit," and strictly control from the source of project approval to ensure that each standard can withstand the test of practice. He highly praised the professional capabilities of the attending review experts and emphasized that the expert group should conduct a comprehensive assessment from multiple dimensions such as technical advancement, operability, and scope of application to help the high-quality development of association standards.

     The chief editors of each standard reported one by one according to the meeting agenda, and the expert group asked questions on key technical points. According to the review discussion results, the applied projects did not overlap with existing national standards, industry standards, or association standards; the project names, scope of application, and main contents basically matched; the technical routes were correct; and the projects were approved in principle.

     This pre-review meeting reviewed a total of 15 applied standards, including 5 for pile foundation engineering, 3 for ground treatment, 3 for foundation pit support, 2 for existing buildings, 1 for materials, and 1 for green and low-carbon.
