Wirtgen presented around 100 exhibits this time, including 45 world premieres and innovative products as well as a series of technology demonstrations, which attracted a large number of visitors to the joint booth of Wirtgen Group and John Deere to immersively experience the colorful world of the construction machinery sector.

As a strong partner for customers in the fields of road construction and maintenance and mineral material processing, Wirtgen Group made a stunning appearance at Bauma 2025 with 45 world-premiere innovative products.

In particular, the live demonstration area was packed to capacity, where experts from the two companies explained in detail on an oversized LED screen the future of road construction, earthmoving and material processing. From individual machines to ensuring the reliability of construction processes through digitalization and automation technologies, and on to efficient workflows — we provide various practical construction solutions to better support our customers' success.

World premiere: Wirtgen presented to the public for the first time the new high-performance large cold milling machine W 250 XF, as well as the new generation of wheeled cold recyclers and soil stabilizers.

Construction projects are becoming increasingly digitalized.

In the technology exhibition area, the John Deere Operations Center™ was the focus — a central platform for digital solutions, mainly used to manage the entire construction project. In addition, visitors got a close-up look for the first time at the all-new Wirtgen Group Performance Tracker (WPT) for paving, WPT compaction, WPT recycling and WPT crushing.

Making their debut: the arrival of Vögele's new generation of products, such as the first SUPER 1803-5 X-Tier wheeled paver or the MT 3000-5 mobile transfer vehicle, once again broadened its performance class.

With the relevant performance data and the already familiar WPT milling, users are provided with a continuous overview of the entire project progress. Moreover, they also record all the work performed by the machines, such as the surface area milled, asphalt paved or compacted, or the amount of material processed. As a result, the digital solutions ensure that customers can obtain detailed reports without a great deal of extra work, while significantly reducing their stress in daily work.

Bauma debut: with the HD 10-HD 12 G-Tier and HD 90-HD 110 P-Tier tandem rollers as well as the HC 130i C VA single-drum roller, Hamm impressively presented its intelligent solutions that enable automatic compaction.

Intelligent solutions for construction systems.

This year's booth theme "construction systems" was presented around the technology exhibition area. The technology exhibition area consists of three parts: ideally matched machine combinations, suitable construction applications and processes, and practical digital solutions. Ultimately, customers can achieve everything they need for construction projects. Wirtgen Group brought 8 concrete application examples to this year's Munich trade fair, one of which showcased the topic of low-temperature asphalt (also known as warm asphalt or warm-mix asphalt). This demonstration showed how resources can be conserved and reliably processed during material production.

In the future, Kleemann will launch its first PRO series screening plant, the MSS 1102 PRO, for the material processing sector. The machine is mainly used for stone processing applications.

At this year's trade fair, we publicly demonstrated for the first time a construction system that fully adopts Wirtgen Group's intelligent automation technology in road rehabilitation. Accessing real-time data and using partially automated processes enables customers to rehabilitate roads more accurately, with higher quality and at lower cost. Other construction systems, such as intelligent electrical interlocking technology in material processing, resource-saving and environmentally friendly cold recycling processes, or soil stabilization in the earthmoving sector, also drew the attention of trade fair visitors.

With the series of solutions presented by Benninghoven for warm-mix asphalt concrete production, dust removal technology, hydrogen fuel applications and the efficient utilization of RAP reclaimed asphalt material, as well as Ciber's continuous asphalt concrete production technology, Wirtgen Group is able to provide comprehensive and cost-effective solutions for asphalt concrete production.

World premiere overview — drawing machine operators to come and watch.

As at all trade fairs, the machines exhibited by the six specialist brands Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann, Benninghoven and Ciber, plus of course John Deere, attracted countless visitors. In particular, the machine operators who came to visit the booth will very likely one day be driving one of the 45 world premieres and innovative products exhibited here.

John Deere rounded off the trade fair with its diverse range of products in the construction machinery sector, including compact track loaders, graders, wheel loaders and crawler dozers.

Dr. Volker Knickel, CEO Wirtgen Group:

The feedback from our customers, especially the high praise for our digital solutions in the field of intelligent automation, has greatly encouraged and inspired us at Wirtgen Group and John Deere.

Their trust was fully reflected in the fruitful sales results during the trade fair, and this recognition will motivate us to keep moving forward. Bauma became the ideal platform for us to present our construction system solutions to customers in a comprehensive way, vividly interpreting the brand proposition of "smarter, safer, sustainable".
