In order to thoroughly implement the "Outline of the National Action Plan for Scientific Literacy (2021-2035)", strengthen the construction of science popularization infrastructure, and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the industry and all sectors of society to participate in and support science popularization work, in accordance with the "Five-Year Plan for Science Popularization Development of the China Civil Engineering Society (2024-2028)", the application and accreditation work for the 2025 China Civil Engineering Society Science Popularization Education Base is now being carried out.

Since the China Civil Engineering Society began the accreditation of science popularization education bases in 2023, it has received positive responses from a large number of member units. Relevant institutions and units in the industry and society are welcome to continue to actively apply, jointly contributing to the prosperity and development of China's civil engineering science popularization and education cause!

Units intending to apply for the 2025 China Civil Engineering Society Science Popularization Education Base are requested to prepare application materials in accordance with the application requirements of the "Management Measures for the Science Popularization Education Base of the China Civil Engineering Society". Demonstration units and projects related to the "Transportation Powerhouse" initiative, as well as science popularization bases of major national railway engineering projects, are all eligible to apply. Please submit the application form (one paper copy, one scanned copy with official seal, and one Word version) as well as multimedia files such as a roughly 5-minute base introduction video to the Secretariat of the China Civil Engineering Society before May 31, 2025.
