Recently, the Hainan Ding'an Daling Mine Project, surveyed and designed by Northwest Institute, was officially completed and put into operation.

This is a national-level demonstration mine project centered on the core concepts of "green, low-carbon, digital and intelligent." The mining area covers 0.71 square kilometers, with recoverable reserves of 33.2002 million cubic meters. It is a key demonstration project in Hainan Province and a "green granary" serving the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port. During construction, the project team's multidisciplinary designers worked closely together to complete the survey and design work with guaranteed quality and quantity, providing strong technical support for on-site construction. The project took 16 months from obtaining the mining license to completion and commissioning, setting a new record for the commissioning of aggregate mines on Hainan Island.

After commissioning, the project will produce 4.8 million tons of high-quality sand and gravel aggregate annually, delivering a steady supply of high-quality, low-carbon building materials for infrastructure construction in the Hainan Free Trade Port and becoming an important pillar of the port's "green economic corridor." At the same time, the project innovatively builds an integrated industrial ecosystem spanning the entire industrial chain from "sand" to "housing," driving Hainan's building materials industry to transition from extensive mining to green, low-carbon development and helping to build the modern industrial system of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
