Recently, Sinohydro Bureau 10 Co., Ltd. won two consecutive bids for the metal structure manufacturing of the Third-Line Ship Lock of the Xiangjiang Changsha Comprehensive Hub and the Second-Line Ship Lock of the Yuanshui Taoyuan Hub. It has become one of the few units within the group with experience in manufacturing large 3,000-tonne-class ship locks, laying a solid foundation for participating in subsequent waterway projects in Hunan Province and even projects such as the "Three Gorges New Channel."

The Xiangjiang Changsha Comprehensive Hub is located in the Caijiazhou branching river section within Changsha City. It is Hunan Province's first 3,000-tonne-class waterway construction project and is part of the national "four vertical, four horizontal, two network" high-grade waterways. The lock chamber has an effective length of 365 meters, a width of 34 meters, and a sill depth of 5.6 meters, with a designed one-way throughput capacity of 58.52 million tonnes. Once completed, it will greatly enhance the waterway's passing capacity, completely resolve the navigation bottleneck in the Wenjingtan section of the Xiangjiang River during the dry season, and effectively connect the "Han-Xiang-Gui" major waterway corridor. It is of great significance for improving the local comprehensive transportation system and reducing social logistics costs.

The Yuanshui Taoyuan Hub is located at the tail of the Shuangzhou branching island in the urban area of Taoyuan County. It is a key waterway construction project of the Ministry of Transport and Hunan Province for the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and is also the "No. 1 Project" of the "Accessible Taoyuan" comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network upgrading project. It is newly built to the standard of a 1,000-tonne-class ship lock, with an effective lock chamber dimension of 280 meters in length, 34 meters in width, and a sill depth of 4 meters. Once the project is completed, it will greatly raise the grade of the Yuanshui waterway, further smooth the east-west connection corridors of the county seat, create great convenience for public travel, and be of great significance for prospering the local waterway market and driving the economic and social development of Taoyuan.
