In November 2024, at the National On-Site Promotion Meeting on Quality-Strong Enterprises Experience Exchange hosted by the State Administration for Market Regulation, Yang Dongsheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, attended the meeting as the only enterprise representative from Jiangsu Province, and together with representatives of five enterprises jointly read out the "Action Initiative for Building a Quality Power" alongside 34 leading enterprises in quality power construction nationwide.

In the era of intelligent connectivity, how can the opportunities of intelligence and digitalization be seized to improve product quality?

In August 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation held at XCMG the On-Site Promotion Meeting on the Experience Exchange of Electric Construction Machinery Standards Stabilizing the Chain, at which the first batch of national standards for electric construction machinery was released. XCMG participated in the formulation of all 13 national standards in the first and second batches.

The release of these standards helps standardize the technical requirements urgently needed for industrial transformation and development, unify technical specifications across upstream and downstream, and clear the breakpoints and bottlenecks in industrial chain development.

At the same time, they provide unified technical basis and testing specifications for equipment selection and testing, accelerate the marketization of electric construction machinery, and provide technical support for the green transformation and upgrading of the construction machinery industry.

Quality is the foundation of enterprise and the core driving force for the sustained development of industrial clusters. As a chain-leader enterprise among the first batch in Jiangsu Province selected into the national advanced manufacturing cluster and the world-class advanced cluster cultivated as a key part of Jiangsu Province's "1650" industrial system construction, as well as the "No. 1 Industry" of Xuzhou's "343" innovation industrial cluster, XCMG actively shoulders the responsibility of a "chain-leader" enterprise, collaborates with chain members to carry out research on common quality technologies, and concentrates efforts on solving the bottlenecks, difficulties, and pain points in the high-quality development of the construction machinery industry.
