The project focuses on urban and rural water supply and irrigation, while also incorporating power generation. Once completed, it will effectively solve the domestic water supply problem for 337,300 people in the central urban area of Sinan County and surrounding rural areas, as well as the production water supply problem for the provincial-level industrial park of Sinan County, Tangtou Bazi and other contiguous irrigation areas totaling 50,100 mu. It will play an important role in promoting the security of urban and rural water supply in key areas of underdeveloped regions, improving irrigation water supply conditions for contiguous farmland in rocky desertification mountainous areas, and helping the water-receiving areas consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, comprehensively advance rural revitalization, and achieve high-quality regional economic and social development.
