Recently, the centralized commencement (resumption) ceremony for major projects in the first quarter of 2025 in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, was successfully held at the site of the Guoneng Bozhou Project undertaken by SEPCOIII. Liu Xin, Governor of Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Song Tao, Deputy Governor, and relevant leaders from Bole City, Alashankou City, Jinghe County, and the Saihu Management Committee attended the ceremony. The company's Guoneng Bozhou Project execution team also participated in the ceremony.

The Guoneng Bozhou Project 2×660MW coal-fired power project is an important component of the National Energy Group's first comprehensive energy demonstration project in Xinjiang planned as a whole under the "two joint operations" model. Upon completion, the project is expected to supply 10.15 million gigajoules of heat and generate 12 billion kWh of electricity annually, undertaking urban heating of no less than 14.83 million square meters for Bole City. It is of great significance for Bozhou to consolidate the foundation of livelihood security, accelerate the green transformation of its economic structure, and boost high-quality economic and social development.
