On the western side of the Tianshan Mountains, the 75MW/300MWh all-vanadium flow battery energy storage station in Chabuchaer, Xinjiang, is operating stably. Sineng Electric has provided it with a customized energy storage system solution, setting a benchmark paradigm for new-type energy storage in the Northwest region.

As a key practice in Xinjiang's construction of a new-type power system, this energy storage station closely aligns with the region's energy transition needs and has achieved engineering breakthroughs in high-altitude, severely cold areas. Sineng Electric has innovatively developed a customized centralized energy storage converter capable of full-power operation at 700-1500V DC voltage, effectively addressing the need for wide DC voltage range adaptation of flow batteries and providing critical equipment support for the all-vanadium flow battery energy storage project.

Since being put into operation, the project, with its 4-hour long-duration energy storage characteristics, has effectively smoothed the intermittency of wind and solar output and continuously supported the stable transmission of power from Xinjiang's gigawatt-level clean energy base.

With its intrinsic safety characteristics and ultra-long life cycle, the all-vanadium flow battery energy storage system has become an ideal technical solution for grid-side frequency regulation and peak shaving, smooth output of renewable energy generation, and stable operation of microgrids. In the future, Sineng Electric will continue to maintain market foresight and industry sensitivity, tackle core energy storage technologies, and create value for global customers.
