The Sin'anjiang Reservoir Reinforcement Project in Guilin is a key project of Guilin City. Located in Chaotian Township, Lingchuan County, Guilin City, Guangxi, with a total storage capacity of 88.69 million cubic meters, it is a medium-sized reservoir for comprehensive utilization that primarily supplies water and also generates hydropower. Its main task is to regulate and store floodwater during the flood season for replenishing the Li River during the dry season, ensuring the passage of tour boats; at the same time, the water energy during the replenishment period can be used to generate electricity, effectively alleviating power shortages.
