As of February 23, exactly 80 days before the opening of 2025CICEE, 1,563 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and regions have signed up to participate, with total contracted exhibition space reaching 275,000 square meters. The sign-up rate of companies that exhibited at the previous edition has reached 85%, and the number of exhibitors is expected to exceed 1,800.

Exhibitors include not only the world's top 50 construction equipment companies and large leading enterprises at home and abroad, but also small and medium-sized pioneering firms; there are both "old friends" deeply rooted in the Chinese market and "new faces" who have come from afar...

Old and new friends gather in the Star City

Expanded exhibition space, a larger scale of participation, and digital displays—these are the most eye-catching highlights of 2025CICEE.

Compared with the previous three editions, the exhibition area of enterprises at this edition exceeds that of all previous editions, and the number of Fortune Global 500 companies and leading enterprises in the industry participating has hit a new high. Preliminary statistics show that 23 of the world's top 50 OEMs have confirmed their participation, including globally renowned construction equipment leaders such as Caterpillar, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Volvo, LiuGong, Genie, Manitou, Lovol, Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion, Sunward, CRCHI, Sinoboom, and Doosan Bobcat.

"Old friends" are coming as scheduled. More than 10 of the world's top 50 companies, including Caterpillar, Hitachi Construction Machinery, LiuGong, Genie, Lovol, Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion, Sunward, CRCHI, Sinoboom, and Doosan Bobcat, have participated for four consecutive editions.

"New friends" are arriving in droves. Two of the world's top 50 companies, including Manitou, will cross mountains and seas to participate in 2025CICEE for the first time, and more than 100 new international brand enterprises will join this edition.

Surprises every year and gains every time have become a powerful driving force for exhibitors to join this global gathering of the industry. Companies across multiple segments of the construction equipment industrial chain remain enthusiastic about participating. Ten Fortune Global 500 companies are taking part, and enterprises such as Anhui Heli, Weichai Power, and Hunan Iron & Steel Group's subsidiaries Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron and Steel, Hunan Valin Lianyuan Iron and Steel, and Hengyang Valin Steel Tube have participated for four consecutive editions.

Moreover, the exhibition area of exhibitors along the "chain" continues to expand. For example, Hunan Lantian Intelligent Equipment Technology Co., Ltd.'s exhibition area has grown from 108 square meters in 2023 to 240 square meters in 2025; Quanzhou Shengde Machinery Development Co., Ltd. has increased from 54 square meters to 135 square meters, and so on.

Industry classification is becoming increasingly refined, focusing mainly on core segmented fields of the construction equipment industry such as hydraulic sealing devices, electric devices, wear parts, and transmission systems, further highlighting the exhibition's professionalism.

Innovation gathers momentum, green lights up the future

With the green and low-carbon tide surging, and focusing on new global construction equipment industry trends such as digital transformation, smart construction, low-carbon and green development, and electrification, 2025CICEE leads the digital-intelligent transformation and green sustainable development of the construction equipment industry.

Green takes "center stage." According to incomplete statistics, at this edition the greening rate of heavy machinery exhibited will reach 75%, green booth construction will account for more than 80%, and 100% of the construction equipment main machines exhibited by OEMs will meet the "China IV" emission standard. In addition, the proportion of intelligent, electrified, and new-energy exhibits will increase from 60% in 2023 to more than 75%, covering cutting-edge technologies such as unmanned equipment, 5G remote control systems, intelligent mining solutions, and intelligent emergency equipment.

Innovation gathers momentum. 2025CICEE is not only a platform for displaying products but also a place where innovative ideas in the industry collide. The exhibition has specially set up a "New Technology and New Product Release Zone," where more than 1,500 new products, new technologies, and new services are expected to be unveiled, with a batch of exhibits representing the direction of new quality productive forces making their debuts, covering many cutting-edge technological fields.

New chapters in emergency equipment and mining equipment broaden industry boundaries

2025CICEE is a window through which the world observes the construction equipment industry. As the industry accelerates transformation and upgrading, the exhibition is also striding forward.

This edition will, for the first time, set up an "Emergency Equipment Industry Chain," a "Mining Equipment Zone," and a "Highway Equipment Zone," with a planned exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, covering safety and emergency response, emergency communications, smart exploration, mining, beneficiation and smelting, intelligent mining solutions, ecological restoration and green development, new mining materials, and investment and financing exchanges, with more than 500 Chinese and foreign exhibitors expected to participate.

During the exhibition, the three newly added zones will adopt a combined "conference + exhibition" format, hosting as many as 10 conferences and forums, procurement matchmaking meetings, and more than 20 new product and technology launch events, aiming to enrich the exhibition's professionalism and open up new growth points for the industry.

The birth of these zones fills multiple gaps in CICEE's product categories in the emergency equipment and mining fields, and pushes the deep integration of construction equipment with safety and emergency response and mining equipment to a new height, marking Changsha Exhibition's leap from "construction machinery" to the "broad machinery field" and further enhancing its global competitiveness.

CICEE has also planned and produced the construction equipment industry's first global electronic show catalog, to be promoted online simultaneously through 100 global media outlets including EU Leaders and the US Daily Herald, so that more Chinese solutions and Chinese products can be seen by the world.
