On February 20, Man Shengang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited Weifang to survey the Weichai Lovol Agricultural Machinery and Implements Factory and the Weichai Central Research Institute, and held a discussion and exchange with Weichai scientific and technological talent. The Weichai Lovol Agricultural Machinery and Implements Factory mainly produces tillage, seeding, plant protection, forage, drying, and special harvesting agricultural machinery and implement products. High-end large agricultural machinery and implements such as 18-row precision seeders, large self-propelled sprayers, large square balers, and continuous dryers have achieved substitution for imported products. Man Shengang inquired in detail about the R&D of new agricultural machinery and implement products, market demand, and production and manufacturing conditions. Subsequently, Man Shengang came to the Weichai Industrial Park to survey the Virtual Development Center, Product Test and Validation Center, and Weichai Hydraulics Factory of the Weichai Central Research Institute, listened in detail to work reports from the Weichai Future Technology Research Institute, Engine Research Institute, Large-Bore Engine Research Institute, New Energy Research Institute, Hydraulic Transmission Research Institute, Electronic Control and Software Research Institute, and Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, and held in-depth discussions and exchanges with representatives of frontline scientific and technological workers.
