Recently, the No. 6 main powerhouse of the Phase III 2×1000 MW clean coal power expansion project (EPC general contracting) of the Dabie Mountain Power Plant, a key project in Hubei Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" power construction plan in which Hubei Engineering Company participated, achieved "chulemi" (completion of the foundation work up to ground level), marking that the main structure of the main powerhouse has officially entered the superstructure construction stage and injecting strong momentum into the project's advancement.

The Phase III 2×1000 MW clean coal power expansion project (EPC general contracting) of the Dabie Mountain Power Plant is a key project in Hubei Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" power construction plan. After completion, with all units operating at full capacity, the project can add 8 billion kWh of electricity generation and 3 billion yuan of output value annually.

After the project is put into operation, it can meet the growing electricity load demand of Hubei Province, especially the eastern Hubei region, strengthen the power supply support of the receiving-end system, improve the safety and stability level and power supply reliability of the power grid, promote the optimization of the power source structure in the relevant regions, and enhance the regulation performance of the Central China power grid. At the same time, the project will effectively ease the pressure of electricity and heat growth in Hubei Province, inject more momentum into Hubei Province's future energy system, promote the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, facilitate the sound operation of the economic internal circulation, and provide important support for Hubei's economic and social development.

The project is located in Sihuagang, Zhongguanyi Town, Macheng City, Hubei Province. It plans to build two 1000 MW-class ultra-supercritical coal-fired units, equipped with flue gas desulfurization and denitrification facilities. Since the start of construction, all builders have adhered to high standards and pursued high efficiency. In only 82 days, they successfully accomplished the arduous task of achieving high-standard "chulemi" for the main powerhouse and boiler. During construction, the project department always put safety and quality first. All personnel worked together and overcame difficulties, successfully achieving the key goal of "chulemi," fully demonstrating the style of the "power construction iron army."
