On the afternoon of February 7, XCMG grandly held the 2025 Overseas Lean Operations Empowerment Conference, conducted simultaneously through in-person attendance at home and abroad and online live streaming. More than 300 leading cadres, core cadres, and outstanding representatives gathered together to review the past, chart the blueprint, and express gratitude while pressing forward!

Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery and Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the conference and delivered a mobilization address. He emphasized the need to resolutely shoulder the major requirement put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of XCMG to "focus on the world's frontiers and strive to explore good models and good experience for innovative development," to resolutely shoulder the major task deployed by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government to "build an industrial science and technology innovation center with global influence and an advanced manufacturing cluster with international competitiveness," and to resolutely shoulder XCMG's major mission to "build a world-class enterprise and scale the global industrial Everest," fully implement the primary internationalization strategy, and drive the internationalization cause to new heights.

Yang Dongsheng pointed out that 2025 is the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan. It is necessary to stay firmly anchored to the annual internationalization goals, strengthen the development engine, solidify overseas operations, refine regional operations, accelerate overseas lean operations empowerment, and, for the work in 2025, put forward the "three musts":

First, we must firm up confidence, seize the momentum, and work harder to advance.

Second, we must stay anchored to key priorities, focus our efforts precisely, and work pragmatically.

Third, we must seek truth and be pragmatic, strive for achievement, and act with urgency.

The conference centered on the theme of "Global Expansion, Lean Empowerment, Creating New Achievements in High-Quality Development," continuously building agile and efficient global operations capabilities and achieving globally integrated operations and leapfrog development of overseas business.

Lu Chuan, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of XCMG Machinery, presided over the conference. Zhai Kun, General Manager and Secretary of the Party Committee of XCMG International Business Headquarters, released the 2025 Overseas Lean Operations Empowerment Report. At the conference venue, the overseas regional incentive and empowerment plan and the overseas financial empowerment report were released, and the general managers of the 14 major overseas regions made statements of commitment regarding the new goals and new operational measures for 2025.
