On January 14, with the precise pouring of the last batch of concrete for Plot 10 in place, the main structure of the Baiyun Airport Phase III Expansion Project undertaken by CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. was fully topped out, laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction.
The Baiyun Airport Phase III Expansion Project is located in Xiaobu Village, western Huashan Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou, with a total construction area of 442,000 square meters. Its main construction content includes resettlement housing, supporting commercial and public buildings, as well as planned municipal road facilities within the red line of the land use, with the municipal construction involving 6 roads and 1 bridge, with a total route length of approximately 4.67 kilometers.
According to reports, since the start of the project, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering has adopted a wall-chart operation mode, continuously optimizing the design scheme based on the overall project goals and actual conditions. The project team advocates technological innovation and actively responds to various difficulties during construction. In response to key construction challenges such as crack control in basement concrete and treatment of karst caves, it developed a key technology for continuous pouring and crack control of super-long basement walls, effectively solving the problem of easy cracking of basement concrete. In construction in karst-developed areas, it adopted technological innovations such as efficient construction technology for PHC pipe piles in karst-developed areas, improving construction efficiency and reducing construction risks.
In terms of the application of information technology, the project team actively introduced information technologies such as the BIM digital design and assembly integration platform for residential mechanical and electrical works, achieving precise design and efficient management of mechanical and electrical engineering through digital means and enhancing the level of construction refinement. Through a series of technological innovations and scientific management measures, the project team successfully overcame numerous difficulties and ensured the smooth progress of the construction schedule.
This project is an important supporting part of the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Phase III Expansion Project and is an important project in the infrastructure construction of the airport economic industrial park surrounding the Phase III Expansion Project. After completion, the project will help further promote the development of Guangzhou's airport economy, help realize the new vitality of the old city and the "four new highlights," promote the construction of Guangzhou International Aviation Hub, and build a new regional development pattern of "one core, one belt, one region."
