Since 2018, Yuchai has invested nearly 3 billion yuan to carry out intelligent upgrading and transformation of its new-generation China VI production line in parallel, building a digital intelligent factory that fully applies 5G technology, features full-process digital monitoring at its management hub, and achieves full automation of engine production. Since the intelligent factory went into operation, Yuchai's finished-product manufacturing rate for engines has risen sharply: a single engine can now be produced to qualified standard and roll off the line in just 12 hours, cutting the production cycle by 80%.

Compared with the precision machining processes that required extensive manual work in traditional workshops, Yuchai's China VI production line has achieved full-process intelligent engine production through digital empowerment. Cylinder bore machining accuracy can reach 1 micron, far exceeding the domestic average, while workers' physical labor intensity has been reduced by more than 90% and manufacturing efficiency increased by more than 50%.

Supported by advanced manufacturing capabilities, Yuchai has in recent years successfully launched a series of innovative products, including the world's first hybrid electric-drive continuously variable transmission powertrain and China's first hydrogen-fueled engine for commercial vehicles, leading the development of China's power equipment toward high-end, intelligent and green growth. Today, Yuchai's products cover nearly 100 market segments, including trucks, buses, construction machinery, ships and power generation equipment, making it a veritable "supermarket of power."
