Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of the first batch of Excellence-Level Smart Factory projects. Zoomlion's "Excavator Digital Full-Process Management Smart Factory" was successfully selected for its outstanding performance, fully demonstrating the company's innovative leadership in the field of intelligent manufacturing.

The Excellence-Level Smart Factory is a smart factory with domestic leading standards recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology together with the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Data Administration and other departments. The selected enterprises are at the domestic leading level in aspects such as "strengthening digital and networked continuous optimization capabilities, systematically deploying intelligent manufacturing equipment, industrial software and systems for typical intelligent manufacturing scenarios, realizing integrated and interconnected design, production and operation data, intelligent control of manufacturing equipment and online optimization of production processes, carrying out comprehensive optimization of the entire product life cycle and all links of the supply chain, and promoting multi-scenario system-level intelligent applications," thereby forming a leading and driving role.

Zoomlion's "Excavator Digital Full-Process Management Smart Factory" covers six full-process production stages: material cutting, welding, machining, coating, assembly and commissioning. It is the world's only production base that achieves full-process intelligent manufacturing of excavators, and can roll one excavator off the line every six minutes on average. The smart factory has planned and built a total of 60 highly flexible intelligent production lines, uses more than 360 automated logistics AGVs and more than 240 industrial robots, and integrates 11 information systems. It deeply integrates artificial intelligence, the industrial internet, intelligent manufacturing technologies and intelligent equipment, solves the industry-wide challenge of full-process flexible intelligent manufacturing of excavators, and achieves a fundamental breakthrough in the excavator production model. It is the smart factory and unmanned "lights-out production line" with the highest degree of intelligence, the highest flexibility and the highest assembly precision in the industry, and its overall process level is internationally leading.

A person in charge of Zoomlion's Excavator Smart Factory introduced: "Our smart factory has built an industry-leading intelligent production line covering the full process and full range of crafts. It has not only innovatively developed a series of intelligent control algorithms and digital systems to achieve flexibility, efficiency and collaboration, but also made breakthroughs in 77 key technologies such as complex beveling, 'lights-out' technology, intelligent warehousing and overhead logistics, and applied them on the intelligent production lines, with more than 200 production line patents applied for in total."
