Quality is the foundation of a business and the key to a strong nation. In the growth of enterprises and the development of the economy and society, only the superior in quality prevail. On January 8, XCMG held a mobilization conference to promote its quality management model, releasing to the world the "Digital-Intelligent Empowerment, Linking the Globe" quality management model.

As the chairman's "No. 1 Project," intelligent transformation, digitalization and connectivity are an important engine for achieving high-quality development and building new quality productive forces. From a broad quality perspective, the model centers on the goal of "Help You Succeed," relies on the "data foundation" to empower the entire business chain of the "Six Meridians and Six Latitudes," and builds global core competitiveness by linking global resources.

At the National Quality Strong Enterprise Experience Exchange On-site Promotion Conference held in November 2024, XCMG Group attended as the only enterprise representative from Jiangsu Province and, together with 34 leading enterprises in building a quality strong nation nationwide, jointly signed the "Initiative for Action to Build a Quality Strong Nation."

As one of the first batch in Jiangsu Province to be selected into the National Advanced Manufacturing Cluster and a chain-leading enterprise of the world-class advanced cluster cultivated as a key focus of Jiangsu Province's "1650" industrial system, as well as the "No. 1 Industry" of Xuzhou's "343" innovation industry cluster, XCMG resolutely shoulders the primary responsibility for quality. It has explored a quality improvement path that is distinct from domestic homogeneous competition, benchmarks against world-class standards, and suits the development of China's construction machinery industry. Through continuous practice, accumulation, experience summarization and model consolidation, it has led the construction machinery industry to take the lead in advancing toward the mid-to-high end, taking the lead and setting an example in high-quality development.

At the conference, Yang Dongsheng, Chairman and Party Secretary of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, put forward requirements for the promotion and implementation of the quality management model from four aspects:

First, study, think, practice and comprehend, and deeply understand the connotation and essence of XCMG's quality management model.

Correctly understand the mutually supporting and mutually promoting relationship between globalization and digitalization, and promote the integrated development of the "Six Meridians and Six Latitudes" business and data; deeply understand the connotation of the goal "Help You Succeed," and dialectically view the relationship between "stability" and "progress" in XCMG's quality management model.

Second, uphold integrity and innovate, and promote product quality upgrading oriented by customer value.

Accurately discern market demand and strengthen the building of forward product R&D capabilities; practice lean concepts, enhance process assurance capabilities, and build a safe and resilient supply chain; promote servitization transformation and improve the global after-market system.

Third, strengthen digital-intelligent empowerment and focus on building global quality management system capabilities.

Firmly grasp the development philosophy of winning by quality and continuously improve the maturity level of the quality management system; strengthen the capacity building of the data governance system to ensure a further improvement in data quality management capabilities; strengthen the capability development of business-related personnel and enhance empowerment of suppliers.

Fourth, fully implement the quality culture and promote the quality management model to take root in people's hearts.

Solidly implement the quality culture, vigorously create a strong atmosphere of "regarding quality as life and regarding quality as the cornerstone of high-quality development," intensify quality supervision, consolidate quality responsibilities, foster quality awareness and brand awareness, personally step in, and align efforts toward one goal.

The conference set the overall tone for XCMG Group's quality work and issued a mobilization order for the year's work.
