Recently, Shanghai Electric Power Construction No.1 Company successfully won the bid for the PC general contracting project of the Chongming Miaozhen Fishery-Solar Hybrid Project of Huaneng (Shanghai) Power Maintenance Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huaneng Shanghai Branch.

The project is located in Miaozhen, Chongming District, Shanghai, and utilizes fishery aquaculture areas, covering an area of 1,600 mu. It is planned to have a DC-side installed capacity of approximately 95.04 MWp and an AC-side installed capacity of 85.76 MW. The project adopts the "fishery-solar hybrid" model, ingeniously integrating fishery aquaculture with photovoltaic power generation to form a power generation model of "power generation above and aquaculture below," effectively conserving land, improving land utilization, and achieving three-dimensional, all-round utilization of land space.

It is reported that after completion, the project is expected to provide 104.7742 million kWh of electricity to the grid annually and reduce greenhouse gas emissions such as carbon dioxide by 80,000 tons. It will further adjust the local clean energy structure, achieve multi-energy complementarity in power, and at the same time promote local employment and income growth, effectively advancing the sustainable development of the regional economy and injecting new momentum into green development.
