Recently, the Datang Dongying Guangrao Salt Chemical 240 MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project undertaken by Hubei Engineering Company achieved full-capacity grid connection and power generation, providing important support for Shandong Province to adjust and optimize its energy structure and achieve green, low-carbon, high-quality development.

The Datang Guangrao Salt Chemical 240 MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is the D18 site project in the Agricultural High-tech Zone under the "14th Five-Year Plan" development plan of the wind-solar-storage-transmission integrated base on the saline-alkali tidal flats of Lubei, Shandong Province, and is an important component of the national Green Energy Corridor of the Lower Yellow River. The construction of the project is of great significance for Shandong Province to adjust and optimize its energy structure and support the construction of a pioneering zone for green, low-carbon, high-quality development.

Under the premise of ensuring "no change in land nature and no change in the ecological environment," the project has built a large-scale centralized photovoltaic power station integrating power generation, salt production, and energy storage, actively promoting the effective utilization of saline-alkali tidal flat resources, forming a three-dimensional circular industrial model of "power generation above the pond and salt production in the water," and establishing a new model for new energy development and comprehensive utilization of saline-alkali land. The project's average annual on-grid electricity is approximately 410 million kWh, which can save about 120,000 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 335,000 tons, reduce soot emissions by about 9 tons, and reduce sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions by about 33,000 tons, with significant ecological and environmental benefits.

During the project construction process, all members of the project department worked together and overcame difficulties, actively coordinating with the supervision, owner, manufacturer, operation, and other units to make preparations for full-capacity grid connection, strictly controlling safety and quality, and completing the power transmission of all 13 collector lines and 82 box transformers of the project within one day, successfully achieving the goal of full-capacity grid connection and power generation, demonstrating the strength of the "Power Construction Iron Army."
