Recently, with the installation of the final lattice shell section completed, the roof lattice shell of the Phase II project of the Shanghai G60 Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor, known as the "world's longest urban industrial corridor," has been successfully closed. This science and technology landmark symbolizing innovation and development has witnessed the outstanding performance and formidable power of the XCMG XCA900L8.

Faced with the challenge of tight space at the construction site, the XCA900L8 demonstrated extremely high mobilization flexibility thanks to its three outrigger span combinations, three counterweight configurations with on-load repositioning, and three superlift operation modes, handling even confined areas with ease.

In addition, the XCA900L8 features a 105-meter main boom, enabling it to easily lift a 40-meter-long, 10-ton steel structure to a height of 80 meters, providing strong support for the smooth progress of the project.

"The XCMG 900-ton crane performs very well! Its counterweight repositioning technology is very useful. Even in such a narrow space, it can slew flexibly and operate smoothly. The lifting that was originally planned to take 8 hours was completed in only 5 hours—very high efficiency!" The flawless performance of the XCA900L8 won unanimous praise from on-site personnel.

It is understood that the roof of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor is 1,500 meters long in total, with a large lattice shell area and long span, a lightweight structure, and thin thickness, making this project extremely challenging. With its extraordinary lifting capability, the XCMG XCA900L8 has become the backbone of the construction site, strongly supporting the giant steel structure project of the Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor and showcasing a new style of efficient construction!
