2025 is the final year of Qingdao's two-year action for high-quality development of the engineering quality testing industry, and also the launch year for new qualification placement in Shandong Province's engineering quality testing industry.
To further raise the development level of Qingdao's engineering quality testing industry, comprehensively and systematically summarize the industry's development and management work in 2024, and plan related work for 2025, the Qingdao Construction Management Center recently took the release of the "Implementation Rules for Construction Engineering Quality Testing Management of Shandong Province" as an opportunity to organize and convene the citywide engineering quality testing industry work conference and outstanding testing personnel commendation meeting. More than 260 people attended the meeting, including the principal responsible comrades of the Municipal Construction Trade Union, the responsible comrades in charge of the Municipal Construction Management Center, the principal responsible comrades of relevant departments, the relevant responsible comrades of the engineering quality testing management departments of each district (city), the heads of the Municipal Construction Engineering Quality Association, and the principal heads and technical heads of testing institutions from across the city.
At the meeting, the 2024 annual management situation of the citywide engineering quality testing industry was reported, related work for 2025 was deployed, awards were presented to the winning units and individuals in the Qingdao selection trial and the provincial finals of the Second Shandong Provincial Civil Engineering Testing Personnel Skills Competition, and the unveiling ceremony of the Outstanding Testing Craftsman Studio and the experience-sharing session of outstanding testing craftsmen were held.
The meeting pointed out that the testing industry is currently in a critical period of transformation and upgrading, and the new qualification placement of testing institutions is about to fully begin. The entire industry must attach great importance, plan ahead, conduct comprehensive analysis and judgment, and carefully and meticulously make preparations for all aspects of new qualification placement. At the same time, in the face of multiple tests from the external environment and internal factors, testing institutions must consciously shoulder their main market responsibilities, establish risk management mechanisms, strengthen control over the behavior of testing personnel, continuously improve the standardization of testing activities, and ensure the authenticity of testing data and results; they must take the "Qingdao Two-Year Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Construction Engineering Quality Testing Industry" as a guide, seize the momentum and dare to pioneer, seize new opportunities such as good housing construction, urban renewal, intelligent construction, and green buildings, and accelerate enterprise transformation and upgrading in light of the new requirements of qualification placement, new directions of market demand, and the new core of new quality productive forces.
