Recently, the Jinan Kaiyuan Road road construction project has made new progress: the 3×35-meter continuous beam of the south approach bridge in the railway-crossing section has been poured. This is the first box girder pour completed for the project, marking phased progress in the construction.

The Jinan Kaiyuan Road (Gongye North Road to Hanyuan Street) road construction project starts from Gongye North Road in the north and ends at Hanyuan Street in the south, with a total length of about 2.7 kilometers, of which the bridge in the railway-crossing section is about 1.2 kilometers long. The project is another north-south trunk road crossing the railway between Aoti Middle Road and Fenghuang Road. Once completed, it will effectively improve travel for nearby residents and strengthen connections between the New East Station area, the High-tech Zone, and the CBD area.

It is understood that before this pour, the Jinan Transportation Quality and Safety Center reviewed materials including the special construction plan for cast-in-place box girders, the winter construction plan, and the safety technical disclosure records, and inspected on-site quality and safety practices such as formwork erection, rebar tying, and construction electricity use.
