On December 21, the main line of Section II of the Urumqi Ring Expressway (West Line) project invested in and constructed by the company was officially opened to traffic, injecting new momentum into the economic and social development of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Section II of the Urumqi Ring Expressway (West Line) PPP project covers the mileage from K31+100 to K60+700, with a main line length of 29.6 kilometers and a bridge-tunnel ratio of 35.8%. It includes 3 extra-large bridges, 47 large and medium bridges, 80 passages and culverts, and 2 long tunnels. The Urumqi Ring Expressway (West Line) project is an important component of the national expressway planning network and a key link in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region's "two horizontal, two vertical, five ring and fifteen radial highways" network. Once completed, the project will effectively enhance the radiating role of Urumqi as the regional capital, alleviate traffic pressure on the road network in the central urban area, and drive the transformation of the urban economic circle into a half-hour economic circle, which is of great significance for promoting the high-quality economic and social development of Urumqi and Xinjiang.
