The Ordos Zero-Carbon Industrial Park is a joint effort between the Ordos Municipal Government and Envision Group. Here, the environmental goal of 100% green electricity supply has been achieved: 80% of the energy comes directly from clean wind power, photovoltaics, and energy storage, while the remaining 20% is procured as green electricity through the grid.

As the world's first zero-carbon industrial park to be truly implemented, the construction of the Ordos Zero-Carbon Industrial Park has injected new vitality into the global transformation of energy structures.

In this important project, the addition of the "world's No. 1 crane," a 4,000-ton wheeled crane, has provided strong support for the smooth progress of the project.

This lifting operation required hoisting a 117-ton nacelle and drivetrain, along with 118-meter-long, 35-ton blades, to a height of 190 meters—equivalent to a 60-story building.

The XCA4000 lived up to expectations and performed steadily. With the assistance of an auxiliary crane, lifting, slewing, alignment, and positioning proceeded smoothly and in one continuous sequence, with remarkable efficiency, earning unanimous praise from the project owner and the construction unit.

"I drove the 4,000-ton crane here. Although it is as long as 11 axles, its multiple driving modes make steering quite flexible, and it is not strenuous at all to drive," said Master Yang, the operator in charge of this lifting operation, with pleasant surprise.

Speaking about its operational capability, Master Yang said, "The efficiency and stability of the 4,000-ton crane are far ahead! Right now it is lifting a 12.5 MW hybrid-tower wind turbine, the tallest onshore hybrid tower in the world at present. This operation was carried out in two lifts: the first lift was the nacelle, and the second was the drivetrain, each taking only just over twenty minutes to hoist into place—the efficiency can be considered very high."

The 4,000-ton crane performed outstandingly in the operation, with both stability and precision meeting expected standards. With its exceptional performance and innovative technology, it has become the key to solving the installation challenges of ultra-tall, high-power wind turbines.

In the future, XCMG will continue to advance toward "high-end, intelligent, green, service-oriented, and international" development, continuously cultivate new quality productive forces, and contribute China's strength to the development of the global green energy industry!
