Driven by the wave of globalization, in-depth cooperation between enterprises and international universities has become an important pathway for promoting technological innovation and fostering overseas talent. On December 17, 2024, SDLG and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (hereinafter referred to as "UPSI") of Malaysia officially signed a university-enterprise cooperation agreement. Song Xiaoying, Deputy General Manager of SDLG, and Prof. Rahim, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UPSI, signed on behalf of both parties.

Since its founding in 1922, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris has earned a strong reputation in teacher education, arts and humanities, and other fields thanks to its outstanding faculty and cutting-edge educational research. The university has long been committed to providing students with high-quality educational resources and practical opportunities, cultivating high-caliber talent with an international perspective and innovative capabilities. This cooperation with SDLG not only provides more practical opportunities for UPSI's faculty and students but also broadens its platforms for educational practice and student employment, helping to further enhance the university's international influence and competitiveness.

As a leading enterprise in China's construction machinery industry, SDLG has long been committed to advancing its internationalization, with products selling well in more than 150 countries and consistently ranking among the industry leaders. In its overseas operating strategy, SDLG adheres to localized talent, localized operations, and localized services to precisely match local market demands. To deepen its internationalization strategy, SDLG adopts diverse approaches in overseas talent cultivation: it uses the Elearning system to popularize product knowledge, dispatches international technicians to impart advanced technology and management experience, and conducts in-depth training through methods such as global skills competitions. These measures provide solid talent support for SDLG's internationalization strategy.

This cooperation with UPSI is another important step in SDLG's internationalization process. Through university-enterprise cooperation, both parties will jointly optimize the talent structure, broaden the boundaries of academic research, cultivate more high-caliber talent with an international perspective and innovative capabilities, and jointly promote the sustainable development of the construction machinery industry.

At the same time, the cooperation between the two parties will also add new momentum to China-Malaysia exchanges and cooperation in education and the economy, laying a solid foundation for the further development of friendly relations between the two countries.
