On December 19, 2024, Cummins Power Generation's Centum™ Force containerized diesel generator set was awarded the 2024 China IDC Industry Innovation Technology Product Award at the 19th China IDC Industry Annual Ceremony.

As a product led by Cummins China's R&D team and recognized by global customers, this containerized generator set, originally named PowerBloc, successfully joined Cummins Power Generation's highly integrated Centum series in 2024 and was renamed Centum™ Force, becoming a globally available product. This award not only recognizes the product but also honors China's local R&D strength.

Since its launch in 2021, the Centum™ Force (PowerBloc) containerized diesel generator set has become a leader in the data center backup power market with six key features: fast delivery, easy operation and maintenance, stackable design, energy saving and noise reduction, space saving, modular design, and high structural strength. In 2024, Centum™ Force was launched globally, meeting stringent certifications in more countries and adapting to the needs of data center markets worldwide.

Currently, Centum™ Force has been applied in multiple data center projects, including Qinhuai Malaysia Data Center, Hebei Yiguangyun Data Industrial Park, Beijing Daxing Smart Technology Industrial Park and Supporting Cloud Computing Data Center, Shenzhen Yixin Data Center, VNET Taicang Data Center, and Malaysia K2 Data Center.
