On December 18, the 90 MW agricultural photovoltaic power generation project in Yangchang, Dafang, Guizhou, undertaken by Sinohydro Bureau 14 Co., Ltd., achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation, setting a "speed of chasing light" for a centralized PV project on complex mountainous terrain in southern China to start construction and reach full-capacity production in the same year.

The project is located in Dafang County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, with a total installed capacity of 90 MW and an area of more than 2,000 mu. It includes a PV site area, collector lines, a 110 kV booster station, and 110 kV transmission lines, with a total of 23 arrays, 210,366 PV modules, and 8,090 PV mounting structures installed.

Since the start of construction, the project team has adhered to the philosophy of starting at peak pace, sprinting from the outset, and tackling difficulties immediately upon engagement. It has vigorously carried out a special labor competition to clear "bottlenecks," given full play to the role of Party member vanguard teams, and coordinated all-factor management of "people, finance, materials, technology, management, and environment" to build a premium project. During construction, the team successfully overcame multiple challenges, including technical difficulties, construction in extreme weather, and numerous and widely distributed safety risk points, achieving the task objectives of zero safety accidents, zero environmental incidents, and zero equipment defects.

The 90 MW Yangchang PV project in Dafang County can not only effectively utilize local solar energy resources, but also, once completed, provide the system with 90 MW of power and 120 million kWh of electricity per year, which will help ease local power supply pressure and promote local economic development.
