Recently, the Shandong Provincial Survey and Design Association and the Shandong Provincial Construction and Building Materials Trade Union Committee announced the list of winners of the 2024 Shandong Provincial Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Achievement Competition. Twenty-three projects from our city won awards, including 2 first prizes, 11 second prizes, and 10 third prizes.

In August this year, the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau launched the 2024 Rizhao Municipal Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Achievement Competition, extensively mobilizing survey and design units across the city to participate. A total of 90 works were received, and after expert review, 40 works were selected to compete at the provincial level. This competition covered comprehensive projects, specialized projects, and excellent architectural design schemes, aiming to enhance the awareness of excellence and quality among survey and design units and personnel and to promote the high-quality development of the engineering survey and design industry.
Next, the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau will fully implement the relevant requirements of the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, strengthen training and exchange in the survey and design industry, continue to carry out activities to recognize and reward excellence in survey and design, stimulate the creative enthusiasm of designers, and improve capabilities in conceptual innovation, practical application, technological updating, refined design, and whole-process management, thereby promoting the high-quality development of the survey and design industry in our city.
