On December 9, the 2024 rankings of the "Top 80 Contractors and Top 60 Engineering Design Enterprises" were released. China Energy Engineering Corporation's China Power Engineering Consulting Group (CPECC) once again topped the "Top 60 Domestic Engineering Design Enterprises" list, which was jointly published by Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine and Construction Times. It is reported that the company has held the No. 1 spot among Chinese engineering design enterprises for five consecutive years.

In addition, CPECC's ranking on the Chinese contractors list rose again, entering the top ten at No. 10. Its Guangdong and Northwest subsidiaries both moved up, ranking No. 48 and No. 55 respectively on the Chinese contractors list, while its Jiangsu subsidiary entered the list for the first time at No. 79.

At the same time, CPECC ranked No. 1 in the "2024 Engineering Design Enterprises with the Strongest International Expansion Capability" list, and placed No. 4 and No. 8 respectively in the "2024 Contractors with the Strongest International Expansion Capability" and "2024 Most Profitable Engineering Design Enterprises" lists. Its Guangdong and Northwest subsidiaries were ranked No. 10 and No. 8 respectively in the "2024 Most Profitable Contractors" list.
