On December 12, the bauxite ore outbound shipment volume of PowerChina's Guinea aluminum development project exceeded 10 million tons, demonstrating PowerChina's high level in project performance, technical breakthroughs, and on-site management.

Since the start of construction, the project has faced multiple challenges, ranging from declining ore grade to complex geological conditions, from the on-site working environment to stringent quality requirements. The project department has consistently upheld the principle of "extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits" and the corporate spirit of "constant self-improvement and the courage to surpass," advancing project performance with a high sense of responsibility and a pragmatic attitude. The smooth progress of the project has not only enhanced PowerChina's international reputation but also set a model for infrastructure cooperation among countries along the "Belt and Road."

As mining entered its later stage and ore grade gradually declined under severe conditions, the project department launched multiple rounds of technical breakthroughs, focusing on controlling ore dilution and loss rates. By improving traditional processes and implementing measures such as precise stratified mining, it successfully resolved bottleneck issues in the ore mining process. At the same time, the project strengthened inspection mechanisms and on-site management, rationally dispatched equipment and human resources, and ensured that ore mining proceeded in an orderly manner, completing milestone tasks on time and to quality standards.

This project is PowerChina's first general contracting project for mine engineering construction in the West African region and a successful practice of China-Guinea friendly cooperation under the "Belt and Road" Initiative. As an important component of Guinea's mining development, the project has effectively driven local infrastructure construction and industrial development, injecting strong momentum into Guinea's economy. PowerChina has provided a large number of local jobs, as well as skills training and diverse development opportunities. Through project construction, it has further deepened people-to-people bonds between China and Guinea, injecting new momentum into rooting the "Belt and Road" Initiative in Africa and writing a new chapter for China-Guinea economic and trade cooperation and regional economic development.
