Recently, two HZS180R offshore platform mixing plant production lines from Zoomlion were delivered to the customer. With advantages such as high reliability, high safety, and high efficiency, they will overcome extreme construction conditions including strong sea winds and marine corrosion, and will serve Section A1—the most technically complex and most closely watched section of the Xiamen Third East Channel construction project—providing strong support for project construction.

The Xiamen Third East Channel is a major national strategic project and the highway project with the highest single-project investment in Fujian Province's history. Once completed, the project will become the most convenient passage linking Xiamen Island with Xiang'an Airport, further improving Xiamen's cross-sea channel layout and providing strong transportation support for building an open, collaboratively developing, and comprehensively prosperous West Coast Economic Zone of the Taiwan Strait.

Offshore construction is highly difficult, and structural durability requirements are high. How to reduce the effects of strong winds and seawater erosion and improve operational efficiency has become a key focus in mixing plant construction. Zoomlion fully considered the special conditions of offshore installation and construction, and carried out customized design integrating offshore fixed platforms and steel pipe pile structures. Among them, the HZS180R containerized mixing plant adopts a modular design for the whole machine; internal pipelines within modules are pre-installed at the factory, pipelines between modules are connected with quick couplings, and each layer of modules is assembled on the ground before being lifted as a whole, making installation more convenient and safer. The container-type outer enclosure meets typhoon resistance requirements.

In addition, the aggregate yard of the mixing plant adopts a fully enclosed windproof structure. The detachable large-capacity steel silo, paired with an automatic feeding system, not only meets the requirements for concentrated pouring of large volumes of concrete but also reduces installation difficulty; the use of trough-type belt feeding ensures conveying efficiency while reducing the equipment's footprint; the powder silo is detachable, coated with anti-corrosion paint, and reinforced secondarily with guy ropes. These thoughtful designs fully ensure safe and stable production.

During on-site installation, Zoomlion formulated practical process plans for every step, from dock assembly, land transfer, lifting and transfer, tugboat transport, to platform installation. "With experience from multiple offshore platform stations, we worked with the process department and the on-site project manager to formulate the lifting and installation steps for each process in detail, and the site strictly followed the installation plan, earning high praise from the customer," introduced the person in charge of the Zoomlion mixing plant installation site.
