On December 6, the China Power Construction East China Science and Innovation Center project successfully completed the topping-out of all main structures, fully achieving the established milestone targets. This project is an important measure by Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA) to respond to the national strategy for major regional coordinated development, integrate into the "Yangtze River Delta Integration" development, implement the strategic cooperation agreement with Nanjing Municipality, and deepen its regional strategic layout.

In September 2024, the East China Science and Innovation Center project was listed as a major project of Jiangsu Province. Since construction began, the project has closely focused on the goals of striving for Jiangsu Province's "Yangtze Cup" high-quality engineering award and "Jiangsu Province Civilized Construction Site," actively carrying out technological research, and building an intelligent construction management platform integrating quality, safety, personnel management, green construction, equipment management, energy conservation and emission reduction, and BIM management. It uses digital empowerment for smart site construction, achieving refined management, high-quality control, and efficient communication, ensuring that all major milestone targets are achieved on schedule.

The East China Science and Innovation Center is committed to building a "green, low-carbon, environmentally friendly, smart, and innovative" comprehensive modern smart office park as its headquarters. Upon completion, it intends to attract outstanding enterprises in the region to move in, create a high-quality flagship business product, and, through a model combining leasing and sales along with continuous operational improvement, take the lead in filling the market demand for office properties in the region.

In the new journey and new stage, the East China Regional Headquarters/East China Investment Company will continue to make sustained efforts, carefully organize construction, and strive to meet the target of completion filing by the end of 2025, achieving occupancy and operation as early as possible. It will further coordinate member enterprises of POWERCHINA to form synergy, deepen local development, enhance the POWERCHINA brand, and promote the implementation of the Group's strategic deployment in the East China region.
