On December 2, CCTV1's comprehensive channel program "Xinwen Lianbo" reported on the largest offshore oilfield group shore power project in China, in which SEPCOIII participated as a contractor.

The report stated, "Today (December 2), China's largest offshore oilfield group shore power project—the Bohai Oilfield shore power application project—has been fully completed. All three phases of the project have now been finished, forming a regional power supply network and large-scale transmission capacity of 980 MW stretching from south to north across Bohai Bay, covering more than 150 offshore platforms in 7 oilfield areas in the Bohai Sea."

SEPCOIII was responsible for constructing two 220kV onshore substation projects and the off-site line works for the project. Among them, the Suizhong 220kV power transmission and transformation station (Wanyou Station) is located east of Xiaolihuang Village, Hejia Town, Suizhong County, Liaoning Province, and the Erhekou 220kV substation (Huayou Station) is located southwest of Tuanshan Village, Tashantun Town, Suizhong County, Liaoning Province, with the two stations 40 kilometers apart. Once completed, the substation project can provide a safe, reliable, and economically reasonable power supply to the offshore drilling platform group, and is of great significance for stabilizing the voltage of lines entering and leaving the coastline.

During the project construction, the company's project execution team tackled difficulties with practical actions. Facing numerous challenges in construction, they completed all construction tasks excellently with outstanding project management and a high sense of responsibility, earning unanimous recognition and praise from the supervisor and the owner. The company received multiple letters of commendation from the owner.
