Recently, the Hebei Weichang "Wind-Solar-Storage-Hydrogen-Heat Integration" project (200 MW photovoltaic) undertaken by Chongqing Engineering Company was put into full-capacity operation.

The project is located in Weichang Manchu and Mongol Autonomous County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, and is a key project in the construction of Chengde's million-kilowatt clean energy base. The project has a total installed capacity of 200 MW, including a newly built 1×200 MVA 220 kV booster station, configured with 30 MW/60 MWh of energy storage. The photovoltaic area consists of 66 arrays, comprising 55 3.15 MW arrays, 9 2.5 MW arrays, and 2 2 MW arrays.

It is reported that after completion, the project will generate 325 million kWh of clean electricity annually, save 100,000 tons of standard coal per year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 277,000 tons, reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by approximately 4,200 tons, and save 1.29 million tons of water resources. The commissioning of the project provides favorable support for building a comprehensive wind, solar, and storage industry chain in Hebei Province and helping achieve the "dual carbon" goals.
