On December 1, the dam of the Guanyin Reservoir, a major national water conservancy project, was poured as a whole to an elevation of 562 meters, exceeding the annual target of pouring the dam to an elevation of 560 meters by 30 days ahead of schedule.
It is reported that the Guanyin Reservoir project is one of the 150 major national water conservancy projects and is also a water conservancy project funded by additional government bonds. As the project legal person, Guizhou Water Investment Group has focused closely on all links of dam pouring around the annual targets and tasks, strengthened Party building guidance, deepened the creation of the "Water Industry Vanguard" Party building brand, fully given play to the role of Party organizations as fighting fortresses and Party members as pioneers and role models in projects funded by additional government bonds, carried out contracted supervision work for the construction of projects funded by additional government bonds, and, through a method in which group leaders in charge make contact, business departments take responsibility, and Party-mass departments cooperate and fill in as contracted supervisors, went deep into the project frontline to urge and guide the Guanyin Construction Management Department and all participating units to fully give play to the role of Party member and youth commando teams, carry out the "Three Good and Six Compare" excellence-seeking activities, use "open bidding for leadership" to concentrate on tackling "urgent, difficult, dangerous, and heavy" tasks, adopt list-based scheduling and task-force-style supervision, organize all participating parties to conduct in-depth research on the roller-compacted concrete pouring plan for the dam, invite senior industry experts for guidance, refine the bin division plan, optimize the bin entry method, adopt whole-process temperature control measures such as a raw material storage spray system, a concrete mixing ice-making system, shaded covering for concrete transport, and a water-cooling and refrigeration system, adopt the "first-piece system" for bin surface acceptance, "intelligent control" during the pouring process, and "review and comment" on pouring results, strengthen guidance for flood-season construction through water and rainfall forecast and early warning, improve the roller-compacted concrete pouring technology for the dam, effectively ensure the construction quality of the dam's roller-compacted concrete, effectively advance dam construction progress, and ensure completion of the government bond fund payment task.
At present, the dam of the Guanyin Reservoir project has risen 36 meters as a whole, with a concrete pouring volume of 250,000 cubic meters and a maximum monthly pouring intensity exceeding 45,000 cubic meters. Project safety and quality are fully controllable.
The Guanyin Reservoir project is located within Zunyi City, with a total investment of 3.466 billion yuan and a total reservoir capacity of 121 million cubic meters. The dam is a roller-compacted concrete gravity dam, with a maximum dam height of 109 meters, a dam crest length of 306 meters, and a normal water storage level of 633 meters. After the project is completed, it will supply water to the main urban area of Zunyi City, the central urban area of Renhuai City, the Maotai Airport Development Park, and some surrounding villages and towns, and will play an important role in promoting the comprehensive advancement of rural revitalization in the water-receiving areas and accelerating high-quality economic and social development.
