World's largest evaporation-capacity Lyocell thin-film evaporator successfully rolls off the production line

Recently, the world's largest evaporation-capacity Lyocell thin-film evaporator, developed and manufactured by Hengtian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. ("Hengtian Heavy Industry"), a subsidiary of the group, successfully rolled off the production line.

As one of the bio-based, degradable, and recyclable new fiber materials, Lyocell fiber features a green and environmentally friendly processing technology and excellent material performance, and is known as the green and environmentally friendly fiber of the 21st century. To achieve the localization of complete sets of Lyocell fiber equipment, Hengtian Heavy Industry overcame key technologies such as large rotor dynamic balancing and high-speed suspended rotating self-balancing, and successfully developed the world's largest evaporation-capacity Lyocell thin-film evaporator, ensuring the uniformity of fiber film formation and the quality stability of dissolved gel, further promoting the development of green fibers in China.

First domestically produced 3500mm coiler furnace drum rotor successfully developed

Recently, the first domestically produced 3500mm coiler furnace drum rotor, successfully developed by Erzhong (Deyang) Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. ("Erzhong Equipment"), a subsidiary of the group, completed assembly and joint inspection.

The project was completed through joint efforts by Erzhong Equipment and Shandong Iron and Steel Group Rizhao Co., Ltd. The rotor is a core component of the coiler furnace of a Steckel mill, operating long-term under variable load, variable speed, impact, and high-temperature conditions, placing extremely high demands on high-temperature comprehensive performance, structural design, and material performance control. Through special optimized design and independent research on casting and heat treatment technologies, Erzhong Equipment successfully achieved full-process complete manufacturing and testing of the product in six months. The rotor will be applied to the rotor assembly localization project of the 3500mm production line of Shandong Iron and Steel's medium and heavy plate plant.

The successful localization of the rotor marks that the last key link of the complete set of Steckel mill equipment has been successfully connected, achieving full independent controllability of complete-set design and manufacturing technologies, ensuring the stable supply of special steel plates produced with this equipment, and taking another solid step forward in the localization of high-end imported products.

Domestically widest fully continuous rolling line, the 1580mm hot-rolled special steel line, put into operation

Recently, the domestically widest fully continuous rolling line independently designed and manufactured by Erzhong Equipment—the 1580mm hot-rolled special steel production line of Chifeng Yuanlian Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. ("Chifeng Yuanlian")—succeeded in its first hot test, promoting the development of domestic metallurgical complete-set equipment.

Domestically widest fully continuous rolling line, the 1580mm hot-rolled special steel line, put into operation

The 1580mm hot-rolled special steel production line is the second high-quality hot-rolled strip production line that Erzhong Equipment has built for Chifeng Yuanlian, following the 850mm hot-rolled strip production line. During the development process, Erzhong Equipment carried out comprehensive overall planning, continuously optimized the design scheme, and achieved multiple consecutive technological innovation breakthroughs, creating a high-end, high-quality strip production line that meets the user's needs for product structure adjustment and process optimization and upgrading.

After the project is put into operation, it will greatly enhance the overall production capacity of Chifeng Yuanlian, further improve its manufacturing level, product quality, and market competitiveness, and provide strong support for building an important domestic production and R&D base for high-quality special steel products.
