On November 6, 2024, Professor Yan Changhong, Executive Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering and Director of the Geotechnical Engineering and Geological Disaster Consulting Center, led a delegation to visit and exchange with China Chemical Civil Engineering Co., Ltd. Nine people participated in this survey, including Yan Tingcheng, Executive Vice Chairman of the Society; Fang Lei, Supervisor; Zhang Dingwen, Executive Deputy Secretary-General; and Li Juncai, Executive Director.

Accompanied by Shan Youfeng, Deputy General Manager of China Chemical Civil Engineering Co., Ltd., Professor Yan Changhong and the delegation visited the company's laboratory. Kang Xu, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Chemical Civil Engineering Co., Ltd., gave a detailed introduction to the company's development history from aspects such as the company profile, qualifications and business scope, credit and management system, organizational structure, technical strength, key fields, corporate performance, and strategic development direction, and expressed the hope to maintain close cooperation, full communication and exchange, and jointly promote development with the Society. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on content including consultation cooperation between the Society and enterprises on geological disasters and the transformation of scientific research achievements. Professors Yan Changhong and Zhang Dingwen pointed out that water conservancy engineering, general survey and treatment of geological disasters, emergency repair and rapid construction under special working conditions, new energy, new materials, and low-carbon technologies are key areas for the future development of civil engineering, and expressed the hope that the Society and enterprises can carry out cooperation and exchanges based on actual projects. Executive Vice Chairman Yan Tingcheng expressed gratitude for the warm reception of China Chemical Civil Engineering Co., Ltd. Yan Tingcheng pointed out that cooperation between the Society and enterprises is a key task of the Society, and expressed the hope to fully leverage the Society's think tank strength, provide advice and suggestions for enterprises based on specific projects, and jointly promote technological innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering.

This survey and exchange enhanced the understanding and communication between the Society and China Chemical Civil Engineering Co., Ltd., and also laid a solid foundation for closer and broader cooperation in the future.
